McGuinn, Clark, Hillman & Crosby - Vancouver, Canada 1978

McGUINN, CLARK, HILLMAN & CROSBY

Vancouver, Canada - January 2, 1978

Roger McGuinn
Gene Clark
Chris Hillman
David Crosby

Note : I have some doubts about this one. It’s from a CDr that appeared in the 90s’, but I don’t hear Crosby at all. So it might be from another place and/or another lineup. I don't think MCH ever played Vancouver. Comments welcome.

Hi RockingB,

We agree on the Cosby part. Soundquality is a little poor after the Floating part.

Found the matching artwork on Pink Roberts trade site. It's called:

Winter Reunion in Vancouver.

They used the crowncorks for the artworkheads (including Crosby) that are made for the Byrdalcoholic gig especially made by Ed an Australian friend of grandpa back in the trading days.

So even it's not Vancouver (Roger mentioned a cold night) the trading society has decided to call it that way and nobody corrected that.

Though for us you're the leading expert on Gene feel free to ask anything.

Best whises, dj and uwe

Hi R-B

I moved to Vancouver in '82 and don't recall ever hearing any reference to MCH having played there. Still, you never know. If McGuinn had made reference to a wet night rather than a cold night, that would confirmed they were there!

Can you please reload for me.
Thanks

Nice Concert.
I listened intently but could find no trace of Crosby or Vancouver. Never mind, Vancouver works until somebody comes up with the the location because they can remember being there?
Thanks for uploading.
