“Under The Silvery Moon” was originally a double CD of unreleased studio tracks (mostly new songs and some alternate takes and covers) from the 80s, released in 2001, which was deleted days only after it was released, because the Gene Clark Estate didn’t agree with its release.

Later (in 2003), an “approved by the Gene Clark Estate” single CD was released on the same label with the same title, with 14 out of the 29 tracks only, many of them remixed.

Here are the tracks that were omitted from the official release.

1. When Jokers Are Wild (4:07) (Holler / Robinson)
2. You Better Move On (Version 1) (5:37) (Alexander)
3. Deportee (3:53) (Guthrie)
4. Almost Saturday Night (2:27) (Fogerty)
5. Dancing On The Moon (2:59) (Clark / Marinell / Robinson)
6. The Panther (4:43) (Clark / Robinson)
7. Gypsy Rider (4:08) (Clark)
8. Del Gato (4:54) (Clark / Clark)
9. Liona (5:16) (Clark / Robinson)

Gene Clark – Bye Bye, Tomorrow - Grapefruit Records – No reference number (USA 2026)

Gene Clark – Bye Bye, Tomorrow

Grapefruit Records – No reference number (USA 2026)

Vinyl LP - Just released! (unofficial)

Gene Clark’s name is nowhere to be seen or printed on the cover and labels.

“A collection of 4-track cassette demos unlike any Clark recordings we've heard before. In a word, bleak. Gene's lyrical romanticism is still here (somewhere) but to the forefront are some of the darkest, most gothic recordings of his career. Drum machines, synthesizers.”

Mostly recorded, engineered and produced by and with Pat Robinson at the Silvery Moon studios in Hollywood - finished versions appeared on the “Under The Silvery Moon” CDs on the Delta Deluxe label in 2001 (double CD - withdrawn) and 2003 (1 CD).

Participating in the definitive versions were Gene Clark, John York, Carla Olson, Pat Robinson, Rick Danko, Nicky Hopkins, Billy Darnell, Gregg Thomas, Le Roy P. Marinell.

1. A1 Gypsy Rider (4:09)
2. A2 Dragon's Eye (5:56)
3. A3 With You I Can't Lose (with Pat Robinson) (4:40)
4. A4 The Hurting Game (3:32)
5. A5 Del Gato (with Carla Olson) (4:54)
6. B1 Washington Square (5:16)
7. B2 Almost Saturday Night (with Carla Olson) (2:27)
8. B3 Liona (with Pat Robinson) (5:17)
9. B4 When Jokers Are Wild (with Carla Olson) (4:08)
10. B5 That Part Of You (with Pat Robinson) (6:35)
