This is the first time in this series that I can hear the complex creative process at work--maybe because it's the longest recording so far. There's a mixture of editing, approval, and attempts to improve on what is a pretty good song. Thanks for this one. Did the song ever get released?

Once again thank you RB for a fascinating insight into Gene's music. I agree mostly with Steve's comments but this could have been a real classic if they had finished it.The tracks so far could have been the essence of a whole album
if worked on. Obviously I love Gene Clark so I am reluctant to criticise but I find that he is easily distracted from the main Wanted Man theme and introduces contrived and irrelevant themes like Elvis,Homecoming Queen and Rock.N Roll bands and motorcycles all of which could have been the basis of other songs but not in this. Pat Robinson does not it seems to me, help him to focus. I'm certain it did not get released but did it ever get finished? The tune, though simple really sticks in your head. Please please please post the next hope its not the last and thanks again!
