One more... from the road!
Thanks a million, RB!
A very nice concert. McGuinn seems revitalized here and it's no wonder: the Byrds had recently been inaugurated into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and his first solo album in over ten years was doing quite well on the charts. He picked a fine backup band for this tour. They play the new songs well and the old Byrds songs almost like the original group, particularly in the vocals. They sound much more like the Byrds than the latter Byrds lineup did, which strengthens the idea that McGuinn-White-Parsons-Battin (York) lineup was really a different group which should have had a different name. The playlist is what you'd expect--mostly old Byrds numbers, plus six songs from Back From Rio and only one from a solo album (and the worst solo album at that). That is fine--this is what the people came to hear, and McGuinn gives them what they want in a very professional manner. Thanks for a very pleasurable listen.
Thanks so much!

I have also fulfilled your request for the three 1989 Byrds reunion concerts. It would be nice if you would at least download the files after having requested them. Please note that further requests by you will only be fulfilled after you've downloaded all your previous requests. Thank you.
