This is mainly for bluegrass fans (which I am not) but since this upload has three important musicians (one from the Byrds, one from the Eagles) I downloaded the concert and gave it a try. If you like bluegrass music then you will be happy with the professionalism and tight playing and saying of this trio. Very much like the Desert Rose Band. In fact, Hillman is the featured singer for most of the songs, and the main commentator between songs. They play a variety of acoustic instruments and some songs from their previous groups (shame on Chris for not mentioning Gene Clark as co-author of A Train Leaves Here This Morning!) which sound good. The Burritos songs are good and translate well from country rock to bluegrass. In fact, all the songs are good for fans of the genre. This is basically where Chris Hillman is at since the mid-80s, so if you like him you will like this.
Thanks, RB . Saw these guys in Boston around the same time; they were great Unfortunately, I didn't tape the show. Thanks for making this one available
Thanks R-B
Good write-up Steve
Is it possibly a re-post?
Thanks - ANYWAY - RB!
Yes, it's been posted in February 2009 but it was then as a single, uninterrupted big wma file. Here tracks are split and better quality.
