R.R. – Chestertown, Maryland 1975

R.R. – Chestertown, Maryland 1975

Corsica Hall, Washington College, Chestertown, Maryland - August 15th, 1975

Audience Recording

After the breakup of The Flying Burrito Brothers, Roberts (who earlier replaced Gram Parsons in that band) released two solo LPs (“Windmills” in 1972 and “She Is A Song” in 1973).

In 1974, he started to assemble the band that would become the highly successful Firefall, who released their first/eponymous LP in 1976.

They served as the backing band for Chris Hillman for his 1975 tour, during which the latter  became ill, so the band had to finish the tour as “Firefall”.

In 1975, Rick did some solo gigs; here’s one of them.

1. Why Are You Crying (2:50)

2. I Just Want To Be In Love Again (3:50)

3. Falling in Love (5:35)
