The Byrds – San Juan Capistrano 1989-01-04

A visitor asked for a reupload of this concert. It made me notice that out of the 3 "reunion" concerts they did in January 1989, only the first one (this one) was posted on this blog. So this is a reup with complete artwork added, and it will be followed by both performances in San Diego (Jan 5) and Ventura (Jan 6). All 3 are audience recordings.

The Byrds - Live

The Byrds - Live

Immortal Records IMA 104168 (Europe 2010)

These tracks are taken from performances that are available in video in various forms and formats. This set also came out on DVD.

The Byrds lineups:

Roger McGuinn, Gene Clark, David Crosby, Michael Clarke, Chris Hillman, Kevin Kelley, Gram Parsons, Clarence White, Gene Parsons, John York, , Skip Battin, John Guerin.

I had to re-tag the tracks as the makers of this CD mistagged this item as being Vince Neil’s “Carved In Stone” CD. Seems they didn’t see or hear the difference between music and noise.

Dates and some places on artwork.

1. The Times They Are A-Changin' (live on TV) (2:23)
2. Eight Miles High (studio) (3:33)
3. So You Want To Be A Rock 'n' Roll Star (studio) (1:57)
