This is wonderful ! There is a fourteen minutes version on youtube where our boys back him on Walking To New Orleans after he has virtually taught them it. I'll bet Skip was loving this with his Rock n Roll background
A surprising recording. I don't like the moderator much, but the music speaks for itself. Fats was a real gem in his day, and still sounded good playing with the latter Byrds (around 1970?). While the Byrds don't really get a chance to show what they could do in their concerts, they provide a good backup band for Fats and let him shine, as a good backup band should do. Thanks a lot!
