John York
Foley (born 1946) replaced Chris Hillman as the bass player in The Byrds. But
he did have a career before that, and also after he left them. He stills writes and performs today,
as a solo artist, as well as in a duo with Barry McGuire and in a trio as The
Jangle Brothers with Chad Watson and Billy Darnell.
