Hi Rockingbyrd. It's great to see you posting again. I saw that this show is going to be released next month so I am looking forward to listening to it. I went to the freakshare link but received an error message "This file does not exist" I'll try back later, Thanks.
Hi Rockingbyrd, this time (but not only this...) you've really got it made: an advance post of something that's going to be officially released is really something. You're great! Thanks again
Rufus, yes there was an error in the previous zip file so I took it off and replaced it.
Thanks Rockingbyrd, I appreciate the effort. I'm good now.
I don't know if you saw this yet but last Wednesday night at the Tales from the Tavern show at the Maverick Saloon, Chris Hillman and Herb Pedersen were joined onstage by David Crosby for three songs. Chris Hillman dedicated the song Sin City to Burritos Brother Chris Ethridge: http://www.noozhawk.com/article/050212_jeff_moehlis_two_byrds_in_house
RB,
Thanks for posting. Don't know if you're aware, but all the files except 21 & 22 are opening as corrupted
David, I just checked it - I re-dOwnloaded it and it unzips ok.
Would advise all interested to download this version. The supposed "Authorized " version is out, and it's not authorized, but is a cheap copy made from a DIME upload, with the 1st song cut, incorrest speed,62 less than perfect audio, and lousy incorrect artwork. Byrdsflyte confirmed this release was not authorized by Chris Hillman, so grab RB's copy. The audio quality is better too.
To Rufus: Thanks for the link to the noozhawk.com article. It was nice to read that these guys still play together once in a while, and apparently have a good time doing it. Would love to see that show find it's way over here! Years ago, circa 1990, when it looked like a Byrds reunion might happen but then didn't, Hillman and especially Crosby appeared quite diappointed from what I read at the time. I wondered if a Crosby & Hillman album was a possibility. I don't know if musically they have enough in common anymore, but it's nice to know that they'll still jam together!
Could you please re-upload the file?
Thanks :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!
