My old file of this concert had been accidentally destroyed, as I recently found out, so it's nice to get it back. This lineup of the Byrds sounds very good live. Gram Parsons' voice fits in well with McGuinn's and Hillman's, both in leads and in harmonies. Kevin Kelley's drumming is energetic and varied, and the late lamented Doug Dillard adds a whole new dimension to the group's sound with his banjo runs on both country songs and the classic hits. The only time the group slows down is for the 3 Parsons lead, all of which have the same plodding beat. But the rest of the songs make one wish that this lineup--with Dillard--had been together awhile longer and cut another album. Thanks for this fine homage to a fine musician.
Could you please re-up this one.
Thanx,
KurtGS
