Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young – The Winterland Reunion

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young – The Winterland Reunion

Whoopy Cat Label WKP-0035 (Taiwan 1995)

Stephen Stills (acoustic guitar, vocals)

David Crosby (acoustic guitar, vocals)

Neil Young (lead guitar, vocals)

Graham Nash (vocals)

Tracks 1-11 soundboard recording, Winterland, San Francisco, October 4, 1973.

Bonus Track 12 live from ABC-TV 1969.

This reunion took place at the end of a Manassas concert. Stephen Stills sang some solo songs, and was then joined by David Crosby and Graham Nash, and later by Neil Young.

This led to a full time CSNY reunion, which also meant the end of the road for Manassas.

--- Stephen Stills and Manassas were booked to perform at Winterland Arena in San Francisco on October 4, 1973. When Stills took the stage for an acoustic set, fans were shocked and thrilled to see him joined by Graham Nash and David Crosby. After four songs Neil Young emerged giving us the first Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young performance in over two years. The group wound up performing a number of tracks they had recorded earlier in the year for an album that never saw the light of day.---

The Byrds - Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall Of Fame 1991 (3 songs)

The Byrds - Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall Of Fame 1991

January 16, 1991

Roger McGuinn, Gene Clark, David Crosby, Michael Clarke, Chris Hillman

I just realized that the complete three songs they performed at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame on January 16, 1991 have never been posted here!

Better late than never, 30 years after the performance.

Not the greatest audio quality and not the greatest playing and singing!

The last time the “original five” played together.

1. Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is A Season) (3:34)

2. Mr. Tambourine Man (3:17)

3. I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better (2:35)
