Thanks RB...great to get this. BTW..."Man And His World" was the site of Expo '67, which carried on after the exposition until 1984. It wasn't one particular building, so not sure which one this concert derives from as there was about 5 music venues.

Thanks Rocking-Byrd.
Would not have thought the Byrds would have been that popular in Montreal but there you go!

Enjoyed the concert. The band were a little less lethargic than at other gigs of the time and seemed to be trying some new arrangements. They also got a good reception!

Nice, energetic concert. However, I find Gene Parsons' drumming a little irritating at times, he overdoes the bass pedal on songs such as I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better (otherwise a nice arrangement of this classic Gene Clark song). The mandolin on Pretty Boy Floyd is a nice touch, somewhat like the original on Sweetheart of the Rodeo. By the this time the live band had very much become a vehicle for Roger McGuinn's voice, as he does most the lead vocals (whatever happened to Gene's leads? He had a nice voice) and there isn't much use of full harmony--just on Jesus is Just Alright plus backup vocals. I've always liked the acoustic version of Mr Tambourine Man in these concerts--very nice arrangement. I also liked Rollin' in my Sweet Baby's Arms, a good vehicle for Skip's voice and superior to America's Great National Pastimes present in other concerts of this period. Clarenc's Bugler showcases his voice better than any other song he did, and is a nice song as well. Thanks.

Excellent--thanks very much for finding and posting. Is there any place the Byrds did NOT play in the final few years?!
