Roger McGuinn And The Peaceseekers – Kertalg, France 1984

UPDATE 2013-09-18: those who downloaded this concert have noticed that there was an error in the zip file = disc 1 tracks 4 and 5 were identical (= "Way Out There"). This has now been corrected and track  4 is now the correct "Birmingham Plague". Thanks to John F. for letting us know.

Sorry to request a reload so soon after it was last up in November 2016, but I only discovered you in December!

It is interesting that McGuinn would hook up with what I tend to call bogus byrds and burritos members. Was he desperate? Has he let bygones be bygones? Would it only happen in Europe?

I look forward to hearing it if you would good enough to load it up again.
Thanks

Quite good. The five tracks that McGuinn did with the Peaceseekers came out well. They had obviously rehearsed, unlike the early days!
I actually thought they sounded better than when Clarence was there, noodling all over the place. A great guitarist but he did not improve the Byrds sound IMHO.
The French audience is very annoying but then again, they are French. The Byrds are still popular there judging by the merchandise you can see at street markets.
Thanks for up loading.

Edwin, French bashing (or any other bashing) isn't welcome here.
