Thanks for this, and all the other Byrds extended family material that you offer. Some people feel that the Flying Burrito Brothers should never have continued beyond their initial Parsons/Hillman/Leadon lineups, but I think that some of the later formations of this group put out some fine music also, such as the show that is presented here. It's always a treat for me to hear Sneaky Pete and Skip Battin, and it's a real tragedy that they both passed away from similar illnesses at not very ripe old ages. Hate to sound greedy, but I look forward to hearing more!
In regards to the previous post, I'm one of those who believes the band ended when Hillman split it up in late 71. It's unfortunate that the name was resurrected, as some of those Sneeky Pete bands actually did put out some decent music, albeit not the same quality as the real Burritos. A different name would have given them their own identity and a legitimacy their never had by using a name that did not belong to them.
