Hi Rocking Byrd,
as I don't think I'm knowledgible enough to discuss the technical details of your (GREAT!) posts, I limit to send my deepest thanks for sharing your precious recordings with us, less fortunate dwellers on the wrong side of the ocean!
THANKS AGAIN AND... KEEP A-POSTIN'!

Like the later Byrds, MCH always sounded better live than on their 3 albums. The problem was one of identity--MCH wasn't supposed to be the Byrds, and on the first album they certainly weren't. But live, they forgot about not being the Byrds and played the old songs anyway. I went to see them in San Diego not because they were MCH but because they were 60% of the original Byrds. And while they played songs from their recent careers and mayb one or two from the new album, it was the Byrds repertoire which drew the most applause, including the later Byrds classic Chestnut Mare. This concert makes no excuse about being ex-Byrds, and 4 of the 6 songs are from the first 3 Byrds lps. I suppose there were other songs played in this concert, but whoever recorded this seemed more interested in the old Byrds material. The group sounds good, and only like MCH in the first song. The rest is pure Byrds. Naturally. Thanks for a very pleasant recording, Rockingbyrd.

Could you please restore this one more time.
Are the Tivoli Gardens not in Copenhagen, rather than Stockholm?
No matter, they are playing somewhere in Scandinavia!

Thanks for this. Still not sure where it actually took place but it is a good recording.
