Nice to have another unreleased show, but it's a pretty lame offering from Wolfgang. There's only about 1/3 of the set here, although for once on Dawson's tapes you can actually hear McGuinn's guitar in the mix, which makes this abbreviated tape even more frustrating, as most of Dawson's tapes don't have McGuinn in the mix at all. Hopefully we'll see an entire set from this weekend at the Tea Party. Now if someone could only come up with the Burrito/ Byrds Tea party show from 69........

Interesting, enjoyable concert--I'd never heard this one before. Though not as memorable as the earlier Boston Tea Party 2-concert bootleg(York lineup), there are fine musical moments in this recording, and the sound is pretty good too. Most of the songs are post-SOTR, which shows the group's confidence in their own material. Of the 3 original Byrds songs, none of them sound at all like the originals, with the exception maybe of Roll Over Beethoven, which appeared on the first box set. Thanks for providing this.
