    A sheer pleasure for all acoustic guitar fans. White's artistry and fast fingers are highlighted in these short recordings, and what a treat! Later on, with the string-bender, his playing was tasteful and less dependent on speed, although he was capable of that as well. Clarence was by far the best Byrds guitarist, and one of the best of his generation. These early recordings are a must for any of his fans, of which I am one. It's a real pity he died so young, but at least he left us a body of work which showed just what an enormous talent he had. Many thanks for this one, R--B.
