The Byrds – Fillmore East 1968 ("Gram Parsons" lineup)

This one was first posted in April 2013, but I had to remove the link two days later, because, unfortunately, my original source for this recording strongly opposed and objected to making it available to the world.

Now here it is again, with a working link.

Poor quality audience recording (but a "Gram Parsons lineup" performance!)

  3. Hi Rocking Byrd,I cannot thank you enough ! I have been after this for an age ! The sound is not as bad as many that I've heard like the Jam Factory at San Antonio . To me it shows that the reconstructed Byrds were a really interesting exciting band. Does anybody know if the Middle Earth gig exists ?
Anyway thanks a Million!!!!! Best wishes Kevin

  8. Hi there,as I understand it the Middle Earth gig that you posted is also known as the Roundhouse. There is another which is well documented where Gram sang Excuse me I think I've got a Heartache, a Buck Owens song. It is listed in Rogan's book but has eluded me for about half a century !
